Press/Reviews
“Pop Punkers (Mexico) The BunBun Killer is a very effusive role with shades of rebellion, we all know this genre is full of explosiveness, aggressiveness, specific sounds, here this song contains everything, so I even like listening to bands like that, you know with controversial lyrics, sung by a woman, perfect it takes more female presence in this environment, speaking of environment it leaves me with a satisfaction and positive energy to the top!, I already had a lot that an artist did not make me feel butterflies of how good his music is, this time it happened again, I am grateful! Today is a great day, grab your jacket and go to a punk concert with this role in the background, so that you arrive with all the attitude to dance all the songs that are possible!”
“SONIC BOMB IMPACTS AND CONQUERS WITH "THE BUNBUN KILLER It is the type of song that asks you to turn up the volume and that, in every detail, shows that there are no loose points. When a debut manages to be as round as that of "The BunBun Killer" by the American band Sonic Bomb, it is impossible not to pay attention. From its powerful introduction, the track denotes that something good is to come, capturing attention immediately and generating an expectation that is more than fulfilled. What we have here is a bold mix of genres: echoes of punk rock, indie rock and a dose of alternative rock that, together, result in a fresh, fun and attitude-filled experience. With a vibe reminiscent of The Hives in their best moments, this song does not stay in the predictable. Its dynamic energy, impeccable cadence and the subtle accents that we find in the production raise the overall quality. There is a remarkable attention in the mix, which ensures that every instrument and detail sounds as it should: clean, punchy and well balanced. But if something stands out above all else, it is the vocal interpretation. An empowering female voice guides the experience, combining disdain and aplom with moments of pure catharsis. It is the type of interpretation that feels personal and universal at the same time, managing to connect immediately with the listener. The chorus, energetic and fulfilling, becomes the perfect climax for a track that is already full of nuances. The musical bridge and the solo that emerge towards the end are an unexpected and rewarding twist. Not only do they serve as a respite to rediscover the song, but they raise it to a completely new level, showing a rather unique sense of risk. In addition, the general vibe of the track has a stop of pursuit: an intensity that keeps the listener on the edge of the seat. Without a doubt, we believe that this is a song that is enjoyed both in the intimacy of headphones and in the energetic atmosphere of a live concert, where his attitude surely intensifies. In the end, "The BunBun Killer" feels like a declaration of intent. It is the type of song that asks you to turn up the volume and that, in every detail, shows that there are no loose points.
